The Mangere Bridge FUN Run, Walk, Stroll and Stride is a FUN time for the whole family 

With distances of 5k, 10k, and 21k's there is a distance for everyone

With a whole bunch of activities at Home Base (Bill and Naomi Kirk Park) ... The Run, Walk, Stroll and Stride will incorporate the Village, the beautiful Kiwi Esplanade and Ambury Farm

This event is one that anyone can do ... people of all ages and abilities can take part - though please note, children under the age of 14 are not permitted to take part in the 21k's (1/2 Marathon)

Registration and Race Number pick up in the Naomi and Bill Kirk Park will open at 7.15am 

All Runners, Walkers, Strollers and Striders need to check in on the day to get their number to be eligible for the spot prizes at the end.

21k participants briefing will be at 7.45am Start time is 8.00am 
 10k participants briefing will be at 8.45am. Start time is 9.00am
 5k participants briefing will be at 9.15am Start time is 9.30am.

This is a fun event for everyone. There will be no "winners" prizes as we are all winners for taking part. But we will have lots of spot prizes. Some we will announce before the day, some at registration and some when everyone has finished.

There will be medals for those that complete the 21k's

There will be food and beverages in the park and lots of activities for the kids with a Bouncy Castle, Face Painters, Balloon Artist and Music

This is going to be a FUN day and we invite you to invite your family and friends to come along and have some fun together.

IMPORTANT: If you register on the day there will be a late entry fee for every participant !!!

You will follow the Yellow Ribbons. Start in Coronation Road, behind the Pedestrian Crossing adjacent to the Race Village Park (Naomi & Bill Kirk Park). 
 Head toward the Roundabout on Rimu/Church/ Coronation Road, follow the Traffic Management Company rules and cross around to the left of the roundabout. Continue down Coronation Rd, cross Kiwi Esplanade, turn left into the park, follow the path around to the left and then stay on the Kiwi Esplanade Path, all the way round to Ambury Farm Gate.  Head left along Driveway Road into Ambury Farm, along the “main street” on the fence line on the left.  At the gate, turn left and follow the signs in the Farm that take you around to the Pond. Run around the outside of the pond and then head back the way you came, through the Farm, along Kiwi Esplanade until you get to Coronation Road.  Turn left and run across the new Mangere Bridge Footbridge.  On the far side turn follow the signs around to the right along the path until you reach the turn cone.  Run around the cone and return back along the path and then left across the bridge.  When you get to the end of the bridge / park, turn left and follow the path under the motorway, veer right and follow the path along the waters edge until you get to Mahunga Drive.  Stay on Mahunga Drive until you get to the Traffic Management Company who will assist you to safely cross the road, stay on this side of Mahunga Drive until you get to the Motorway Pedestrian Overpass, turn right, cross over the overpass, then turn right onto Hastie Ave. Follow Hastie Ave until you get to Miro Road, turn left onto Miro Road, follow this until you get to the Service Lane on your right, turn into this Lane and the Finish Line is on your left leading into the Race Village Park

An out and back course, nice and flat, you will follow the RED Ribbons, starting in the main street of Mangere Bridge Village ... Coronation Road to the roundabout, across the roundabout following the Traffic Marshals instructions, down the path and then left onto Kiwi Esplanade path.

Continue, following 10k arrows, until the turning point. Ensure you follow the arrows and Marshals instructions around the Mangere Boating Club and Manukau Yacht and Motor Boat Club.
